Prior to earning his graduate degree in theology at age 61, Jim spent several decades in the corporate world of employee benefits and insurance. Since earning his degree, and prior to joining the parish as Pastoral Associate, he has been a freelance writer for Our Sunday Visitor Newsweekly and an online instructor for the University of Notre Dame’s Satellite Theology Education Program (STEP). Jim also enjoys public speaking on the social teaching of the Church.
He and Alice have been married 44 years , have two adult children and three grandchildren.
