Originally known as the "pierogi pinchers," the society is comprised of men and women who enjoy preparing ethnic foods. The society is most active during the Lenten Fish Fries and the Parish Fair. Please contact Ruthanne Burkey to inquire or join.
The Legion of Mary is the largest apostolic organization of lay people in the Catholic Church. Their main purpose is to glorify God through sanctification of its members who share a special devotion to Our Lady. Members meet on Saturday mornings for prayer, planning, and discussion. Their aim is a balanced program of service and prayer.
Established in 2005 as a means for the men of our parish to encounter Christ in our midst, Catholic Men's Fellowship works to support members to become better husbands, leaders, and Catholics. Meetings are held on the first and third Thursday of each month to study scripture, to pray, sing and grow in our faith. Our fellowship continues through service projects we complete together for our parish and our community.
Our annual Lenten Fish Fry begins on Ash Wednesday and continues every Friday during Lent, except Good Friday. Parish volunteers work to raise money for our Parish and Parish School through this fundraiser. Volunteers of all ages and skills are welcome! Please contact Rudy Richtar to get involved.
Since 1999, the Singles Over 50 group provides support, fellowship, and social friendships for single, widowed, and divorced men and women aged 50 or older. Meetings are held the first Fridays of each month. The group is over 30 members strong and enjoys social activities throughout the year. Please contact Bette Hacket if you would like to join.
Through its system of rank promotion, as well as its many service projects, camping trips and troop meeting, Scouting promotes leadership skills and encourages honesty, goal-setting, and high achievement. Cub Scout Troop #350 meets twice per month and is open to boys in grades 6-12. If you are interested in joining, please contact Brynn Hughes.
LAOH is an organization of Catholic Irish women, active in Pennsylvania for over 100 years. Aside from their commitment to the preservation of Irish heritage, the women of LAOH are active as a non-profit fundraising group, providing funds that support a wide variety of charitable causes. They offer assistance to men and women religious, seminarians, local food banks, and shelters for abused women.
The Saint Anne Young Adult Group is an inclusive community comprised of adults from all vocations and backgrounds who seek to love, know, and serve Christ. We provide opportunities for fellowship, receiving the sacraments, uniting in prayer, serving those in need, praising and worshiping our Lord, deepening our relationship with Christ, and enhancing our understanding of the Catholic Church. We aim to provide support to one another as we strive to live out our faith in our daily lives.
