We strive to assist children and young people in developing a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ. Strengthened by the celebration of the Eucharist, as well as the witness of family life, students will be encouraged to serve God and others as disciples. We ensure a safe and interactive learning environment using various methods.
Saint Paul of the Cross Parish offers several catechetical options, allowing you to choose the method that works best for you and your family.
Classroom Style Faith Formation Sessions:
In addition to our on-site catechetical programs, we offer parents the opportunity to teach religious education to their children in their own home through our Home-Based program. Parents who elect to utilize this program are provided the resources and materials to teach the curriculum at home. Home-Based students follow the Faith Formation schedule and also require full participation in our parish formation gatherings such as Family Night, Stations of the Cross, and Penance Services.
Please get in touch with our office if you would like to learn more about how Faith Formation can serve your family.

Comprised of high school students who take ownership of their faith and the direction of student ministry at Saint Paul of the Cross Parish. Student leaders have the maturity to inspire peers, influence friends, and offer encouragement and support to others. Contact Matt Scruggs for more info.
At Saint Paul of the Cross Parish, we believe that there is always more to learn about our faith. Throughout the year, we offer opportunities for adult education courses and fellowship opportunities. Feel free to check out the Ministries and Organizations at both Saint Anne and Saint Winifred to supplement your learning with charitable works and social fellowship throughout our new grouping. Stay tuned for information regarding our Bible Studies and Sacramental Preparation meetings throughout the year.
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is an ongoing formational program that meets on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm in the DePalma Room on the Saint Anne Campus from September through May.
Individuals seeking Baptism and full initiation into the Catholic Church (catechumens), or those who are coming from another faith tradition seeking to complete their initiation (candidates) are invited to join.
The members of the RCIA team encourage candidates and catechumens to continue conversion and "enter into a relationship with God in Christ." Culminating at the Easter Vigil, the catechumens and candidates are brought into full communion with the Catholic Church through the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.
